Interaction designer (ux/ui/electronics) internship

Ph3The Position /h3 pThe CXSD (Customer Experience and Solution Design) team at Roche Diagnostics is looking for a passionate Product Designer Intern. The role requires knowledge of UI design and experience with electronics integration in physical products (e.g., Arduino/Electronics). /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork on projects focused on making healthcare professionals' work life safer and easier /li liBuild and orchestrate user experiences beyond screens /li liIdeate, build, iterate, and prepare user experiences until hand‑over stage to engineers for integration into product /li liSupport usability testing with planning, preparation, conducting, and analyzing activities /li liLearn how to involve different stakeholders from business roles to engineering to test participants and build the best UX possible /li liBuild software and Arduino prototypes /li liIntegrate electronics for human interaction and machine feedback into medium‑high‑ultra fidelity physical prototypes/mock‑ups /li liJoin a highly motivated and friendly team /li liMake at least one business trip to Germany /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEU/EFTA students: currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, UX design, Human–Computer Interaction Design, visual design, technical science or similar /li liNon‑EU/EFTA students: must provide a university certificate stating that the internship is mandatory and upload it together with application documents; must be enrolled during the entire internship period /li liExperience with Figma (showcasing a project required) /li liExperience with Arduino and Processing (showcasing a project required) /li liSkills in design for User Experience, User Interfaces and User Interaction with hardware and software projects /li liFluency in English /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liThe internship will take place in Rotkreuz, Switzerland /li liPreferred start date: August 2026 or upon availability for 12 months /li liPart‑time employment not possible /li liNot suitable for a Master’s thesis /li liPortfolio and CV required for application /li /ul pbRoche is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
