We are seeking an expert in IT Automation to join our team as a Technology Sales Engineer. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing industry-leading solutions to our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Crafting client strategies for security infrastructure, applications, and management.
* Detailing IBM Security solutions to improve existing technology stacks.
* Simplifying complex technical topics for client understanding.
* Building credibility and trust at all levels to successfully close complex Cloud technology deals.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, and show them how our solutions can solve their problems.
Requirements
* Hands on experience in the space of IT Automation (IAM, Integration, Observability, AI Ops, FinOps, DevOps).
* Experience with Infrastructure concepts and technologies (SOA, Kubernetes, Microservices, VMWare, etc).
* Firm understanding and hands on experience with Cloud providers i.e. IBM Cloud, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc.
* Demonstrated knowledge for demos and running hands on workshops.
* Proven track record in handling multiple customers/opportunities at the same time and driving the opportunities to a successful sales closure.
* Interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with clients and sales professionals.
* Experience successfully engaging with clients to identify, progress and win technology sales opportunities.
