For one of our clients based in the North Vaud region, we are looking for our future rare gem!Much more than a simple setting position, you will join a concrete industrial environment where your mechanical skills and autonomy will make the difference.Mechanic SetterTemporary mission, 2x8 shift hours, with immediate start or by arrangement.Main activities:- Setting & Production: Perform settings and participate in the monitoring of production and specific machines.- Production Management & Maintenance: Launch and monitor machine production, ensure first-level maintenance, and intervene in case of breakdowns.- Quality Control: Perform part inspection using conventional measuring devices and correct process deviations.- Versatility in the workshop: Actively participate in the life of the sector (loading/unloading, cleaning, and maintaining order at the workstation).Your profile:- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a mechanical trade (production mechanic, polymechanic, screw-cutting specialist) or equivalent training.- Experience: Confirmed experience in machine setting.- Technical skills: Proficiency in reading technical plans/drawings, conventional control tools, and basics in IT (data entry).- Soft skills: You are recognized for your rigor, your versatility, and your sense of responsibility.
