Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has two locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe, and Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG will turn these into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

The position is based at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your profile
* Experience and a proven track record as a (senior) aerodynamicist in Formula 1
* A strong educational background in aerodynamics, with an engineering degree focused on aerodynamics or fluid mechanics
* Proficiency in CFD and 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA V5/V6/3Dx)
* Deep understanding of CFD and wind tunnel testing techniques, with experience in running wind tunnel programs
* Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
* Ability to meet performance targets within strict deadlines
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills
* Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented, and capable of working independently, with willingness to work additional hours if needed
* A team player with initiative and decision-making abilities
* Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and a strong work ethic
* Open to learning from and sharing knowledge with others
* Full professional proficiency in English or German, with willingness to learn the other language at a basic level
