System & Equipment Engineer - Specialist 80 - 100% (f/m/d) at Hitachi Energy
We are seeking a highly motivated, technically skilled System & Equipment Engineer to help shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing in our fully integrated, Industry 4.0‑ready power semiconductor production facility.
Responsibilities
* Ensure high plant availability and support production scale‑up projects.
* Conceive and implement automation strategies and technical standards for production equipment.
* Develop and integrate systems for equipment monitoring and diagnostics focusing on OT/IT interfaces.
* Actively contribute to the digital infrastructure for production control and optimization.
* Promote a safe working environment by applying 6S principles and supporting ABRA safety protocols.
* Apply method‑based continuous improvement processes (e.g., Practical Problem Solving, Lean Six Sigma).
* Maintain and evolve Maintenance Instructions in the CMMS.
* Document, train and sustainably implement changes in the maintenance process.
Qualifications
* Completed engineering degree (FH/ETH) in Mechanical Engineering, System Technology, Automation or Electrical Engineering.
* Several years of experience in maintenance and automation in a high‑technology environment.
* Experience in plant support and optimisation, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing sector.
* In‑depth knowledge of OT/IT integration (interfaces, data communication, industrial networks).
* Proficient use of CMMS systems and digital tools for production monitoring.
* Structured, solution‑oriented work style with strong teamwork and communication skills.
