Ph3Job Overview /h3 pIn this internship, you will contribute to Research and Development projects to further improve and maintain our competitiveness. Reporting to the head of Fluid Mechanics, you will support the team in improving fluid mechanic simulation tools and processes. You will significantly contribute by automating processes, validating simulation data with measurement results, and implementing new simulation tools. /p pYou will be part of the Technology (RD) organization and gain valuable insights into the design and verification of turbocharging solutions for engines above 500kW. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate with RD team members to validate existing simulations or develop new modules within the process. /li liPerform and evaluate CFD or CHT simulation for turbocharging systems, compressors, turbines, bearings, or cooling channels. /li liSet up and run automatic optimization projects using genetic algorithms. /li liSupport the team in multiple tasks, including parameter studies, comparison of software tools, simulation process automation, and standardization. /li liAdd value by bringing in your own ideas. /li liDocument results. /li /ul h3Your Background /h3 ul liOngoing studies in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer-Aided Engineering, or a related discipline. /li liUnderstanding of fluid mechanics and turbomachinery. /li liStrong interest in CAE tools (CFD, FEA, and CAD). /li liPreferably experience with ANSYS CFX or Fluent. /li liOutstanding analytical and conceptual skills. /li liExperience in Python or Matlab programming. /li liSolution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style. /li liHigh level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and improve. /li liTeam player, able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and skill sets. /li liFluency in English or German. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
