Backed by private equity, the business is seeking a strategic financial leader to stabilize operations, manage severe cash flow challenges, and execute a high-impact turnaround.
This is a high-stakes role requiring strong financial restructuring expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to operate under pressure in a global environment. Intercultural communication and frequent travel are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement financial restructuring and turnaround strategies.
* Execute cost optimization plans to restore financial stability.
* Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
* Lead relationships with banks to negotiate financing solutions.
* Ensure accurate project and product-level reporting and cost accounting.
* Oversee consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and regulatory compliance.
* Lead and develop a small finance team across multiple geographies.
* Align financial strategy with global executive leadership.
* Manage cross-cultural coordination and regularly travel as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience in financial restructuring and turnaround leadership.
* Strong background in cash management, budgeting, and cost control.
* Experience in project/product accounting and financial consolidation.
* Demonstrated success in securing and managing financing with banks.
* Background in the automotive or manufacturing sectors preferred.
* Skilled in managing multicultural teams across global operations.
* Willingness to travel internationally and work onsite during the week.
