We are currently looking for a talented and highly driven Sous Chef with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Main Responsibilities
The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen brigade in charge of banquets and off-site catering for up to 700 guests. He/She must uphold quality, service, and product standards. Additionally, he/she replaces the Head Chef in their absence.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of tasks related to these responsibilities:
* Monitor all orders placed and manage costs.
* Check deliveries for quality, freshness, quantity, and cost.
* Verify invoicing according to accounting procedures.
* In the absence of the Head Chef, prepare daily schedules.
* Prepare absence forms (accident, illness, vacation, holidays, other) and daily attendance sheets.
* Organize and supervise the onboarding of new team members in line with procedures (mentoring, task introduction, knowledge checks).
* Provide ongoing training for staff.
Job Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience working in a luxury hotel environment. European experience is a must.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
* Ability to communicate in proper English & French both verbally and in writing.
* Excellent overall communication skills.
* Able to multi-task.
* Training and coaching skills.
* The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for culinary arts, lots of flair and creativity.
* Exceptional inter-personal, management, and organizational skills.
* Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards.
Please note this is a full-time permanent position.
