Key Account Professional
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Key Account Professional to develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and be able to craft joint business plans that encompass range, pricing, and promotions.
* The successful candidate will take full ownership of the strategic plan for their account, driving sales and managing profit and loss elements, aligning with broader company goals.
* They will partner with marketing and category teams to innovate shopper solutions and drive excellence in market execution.
* Additionally, they will lead forecast planning in unison with finance and supply teams to provide stellar customer service and financial consistency.
* The Key Account Professional will also lead customer negotiations, representing the company's commercial interests and value-based trading terms effectively.
* Furthermore, they will work towards continuous enhancement of category management, improving efficiency and profitability.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum bachelor's degree in Sales or Business Administration, with at least 3 years of experience in sales. Additional experience in trade marketing, e-commerce, or marketing is highly valued.
* You should have demonstrated success in national account sales within FMCG, Consumer Goods, or a similar premium brand environment.
* Solid history of managing P & L, budgets, and the expansion of substantial, complex accounts is essential.
* High commercial acumen paired with outstanding communication, negotiation, and influence skills are required.
* A customer-first approach with expertise in nurturing multi-level trade customer relationships is necessary.
* Excellent communication skills in fluent English, with the ability to nurture relationships and manage stakeholders with ease.
