The World Economic Forum is an international organization that brings together leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to discuss and address global challenges to improve the state of the world.
As a membership organization, the Forum engages businesses in projects and initiatives – online and offline – to address industry, regional, and systemic issues.
The Partner Services (account management) team, part of the Business Strategy and Services team, focuses on delivering high-quality engagement to the 800+ Forum Partners across all industries and geographies, working closely with the Global Industries and Regional Business teams.
We are currently seeking a Partner Services Specialist (Account Manager) to focus on building and reinforcing relationships with Partner Representatives of the Forum Partner companies within the Middle East and Africa region.
Responsibilities include:
1. Act as the key contact for delivering Partner Engagement plans and strategies for the assigned Partners
2. Onboard new Partners into the Forum ecosystem, including the digital ecosystem, building strong relationships with Partner Representatives, and documenting information in Forum systems like Salesforce
3. Facilitate Partner engagement according to defined plans across Forum communities and initiatives
4. Monitor Partner news and health to flag potential risks, manage and communicate risks and mitigation plans
5. Contribute to Partner engagement opportunities, including upgrades, in collaboration with relevant teams
6. Assist in Partners’ participation in events, including invitations, registration, agendas, speaking roles, and logistics
7. Manage contracts and invoicing, follow up on unpaid invoices
8. Identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance Partner engagement
9. Leverage digital tools to improve communication and operational efficiency
10. Ensure smooth offboarding of Partners when necessary
To be successful, an Account Manager / Partner Services Specialist should:
1. Build relationships with Partner Representatives to develop and execute engagement plans aligned with their business priorities
2. Monitor and manage partner retention and engagement metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed
3. Ensure a unified 'One-Forum' approach with internal teams to deliver a superior Partner experience
Preferred Requirements and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
* Proven success in account management and relationship development
* Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
* Experience with data analytics and reporting to drive performance
* Critical thinking, collaborative work skills
* Digital mindset and capabilities
