Base pay range CHF100,000.00/yr - CHF110,000.00/yr
Responsibilities Conduct design and development projects using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
Apply FEM (Finite Element Method) for analysis and optimization of mechanical components and systems.
Contribute to the development of new product concepts and improve existing products.
Collaborate closely with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
Participate in R&D projects to advance products and technologies.
Create technical documentation, drawings, and bill of materials.
Perform tests and experiments to verify and optimize product performance and quality.
Stay updated on current trends and technologies in mechanical engineering and plastics.
Qualifications Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, manufacturing engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
Good understanding of FEM and experience applying it for component analysis.
Experience in developing mechanical parts and systems, ideally in mechanical engineering or plastics sectors.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plastic component production.
Interest in R&D and technical challenges.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Teamwork and good communication skills.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
