Drive Technical Sales and Application Support in Motion Control
About the Role
* We are seeking a Senior Application & Sales Engineer with expertise in motion control to drive technical sales and application support across EMEA.
This role requires a strong engineering background in motion control, servo drives, and industrial automation, combined with solid experience in sales or managing key customer projects.
Responsibilities
* Grow the Industrial Linear Motors Market: Actively expand the market across EMEA as part of a cross-border team.
* Provide Technical Support: Visit key customers to offer hands-on guidance on direct drive and motion control solutions.
* Coach Sales Teams: Support internal sales teams on automation technology to address major opportunities and expand potential.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Application Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and R&D to improve tools and product offerings.
* Solution Design: Identify technical requirements and develop tailored application solutions aligned with our product portfolio.
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in control and drive technology and motion control.
* Strong knowledge of PLC systems, programming environments, and fieldbus communication.
* Proven experience in a comparable role (e.g., business development, sales, or product management) with solid market understanding in automation.
* Confident in both technical and commercial conversations with engineers and decision-makers.
* Experience managing technical projects from concept to implementation.
* Fluent in English; German and French are advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to travel 30–40% within EMEA.
