Leading Auditors in Strategic Finance Roles
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Audit Director to oversee all relevant audit work related to finance, asset management, and risk management. This includes delivering independent assurance to the Board of Directors as well as Legal Entities.
The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of experience in audit or other relevant roles within the insurance/reinsurance industry at a senior level. They will also have CPA, CA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification, along with leadership experience in a global, matrix-driven organization.
Responsibilities include:
* Shape business direction by assessing risks and ensuring audit coverage
* Steer audit teams to remain critical and independent while balancing risk perspectives with business views
* Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, raising issues and delivering impactful messages
* Provide inspirational leadership for a global team of auditors, creating excitement around Group Internal Audit's vision and mandate
Key skills include:
* Strong technical background in Financial Reporting, IFRS, financial instruments, investment products, and capital markets
* Excellent communication skills to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders
* Critical thinking to see the big picture, generate innovative ideas, and make recommendations in complex situations
* Impact/value-oriented leadership, planning, coaching, and delivering value-adding results in time
