Role Summary
As Treasury Manager, you will oversee all aspects of global treasury operations at Roberto Cavalli. This strategic role requires meticulous financial stewardship, compliance enforcement, and agile forecasting to support the brand’s expansion and prestige across luxury markets. You will lead banking relationships, drive treasury analytics, and manage currency risks, ensuring optimal financial performance aligned with board protocols and corporate vision.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Governance & Compliance
Enforce adherence to treasury policies approved by the Board and senior management
Ensure full compliance with internal controls, banking mandates, and financial legislation
Design and maintain Treasury SOPs and escalate risk exposures proactively
Cash Flow & Forecasting
Implement and maintain a dynamic system for forecasting direct & indirect cash flows and fund flows
Compare forecasted vs. actual movements and provide variance insights to management
Maintain treasury MIS dashboards across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual templates
Financial Positioning & Funding Strategy
Manage and ensure a balanced financial position across short- and mid-term horizons
Identify optimal sources of funding and manage intercompany financing structures
Prepare detailed treasury budgets and oversee all bank reconciliations
Treasury Accounting & FX Management
Oversee accounting entries for treasury operations, including hedging and derivative instruments
Manage foreign exchange exposures and implement hedging strategies aligned with global risk appetite
Ensure full visibility of financial instruments within Bloomberg, TMS, and Piteco
Banking Relations & Cost Optimization
Cultivate strong relationships with banking and financial institutions across geographies
Define and negotiate borrowing needs, terms, and interest profiles aligned with strategic goals
Analyze and reduce treasury-associated costs, including bank fees and financial charges
Strategic Resource Identification
Assess resource needs to support business operations in line with approved financial strategies
Collaborate with FP&A and operations to align treasury objectives with company growth targets
Qualification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. MBA or CFA preferred.
Experience
8–12 years in treasury management or corporate finance within luxury or FMCG sectors
Technical Proficiency
Mandatory expertise in Bloomberg, Piteco, and Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
Languages
Fluent in Italian and English; proficiency in French or German advantageous
Ideal Profile
Highly analytical with attention to precision and financial stewardship
Strong communicator with diplomacy in managing financial institution relationships
Familiarity with multi-national operations and treasury centralization strategies
