Your responsibilities The Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all technical deliverables are completed for Concept and BOD phases, equipment is installed and qualified, and that all documentation is completed and stored according to regulatory and industry standards.
The project closeout process must include a review of lessons learned to inform future projects.
Work with stakeholders to develop and own the project scope definition.
Support the selection of Design Engineering strategy and partner selection, including developing a design deliverables list.
Manage the Design engineering company from Concept to BOD approval.
Ensure effective communication and understanding of Lonza technical standards through the development of a project technical standard.
Support the development of the project plan, including scheduling all technical activities such as equipment design, installation, commissioning, and qualification, with a detailed understanding of project timelines, budgets, and resource availability.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing contingency plans as needed.
Assist in managing the project budget, controlling costs, monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and reporting financial performance to stakeholders.
Solve complex technical problems that arise during the project, requiring a deep understanding of technical aspects and effective problem-solving skills.
Your profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (process, pharmaceutical, biochemical, or equivalent).
Experience in project engineering and management within chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical industries, with international exposure.
Broad technical knowledge across various engineering disciplines in the pharmaceutical environment, including utilities, process, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering.
Excellent command of computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Good understanding of the CDMO industry/business.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
