On behalf of our client, a prominent international company, we are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Technician – Laser Machines for their Swiss headquarters.
The client is a leader in industrial automation, specializing in the design and sale of systems for laser cutting machines, and serves as an authorized European distributor for cutting-edge laser technology.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Laser Service Coordinator Europe, the successful candidate will provide high-level technical support to a global clientele. This role balances remote assistance with on-site interventions to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Support: Providing remote assistance (80%) and on-site support (20%) to national and international customers.
* Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnosing technical issues and collaborating with Group companies to find optimal solutions.
* Sales Support: Preparing quotations for spare parts and both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services.
* System Modernization: Contributing to revamping projects for existing automation systems.
* Travel: Traveling within Europe for approximately 20% of the working time.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a professional who combines technical expertise with a strong customer-oriented approach.
* Education: A high school diploma in a mechanical or electrical field.
* Experience: Proven experience as a service engineer or in a customer service role. Experience in the maintenance of laser cutting machines and automation is highly preferred.
* Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a professional, reliable demeanor.
* Languages: Proficiency in Italian and English; knowledge of other European languages is considered a significant asset.
