The client is a leader in industrial automation, specializing in the design and sale of systems for laser cutting machines, and serves as an authorized European distributor for cutting‑edge laser technology.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Laser Service Coordinator Europe, the successful candidate will provide high‑level technical support to a global clientele. This role balances remote assistance with on‑site interventions to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Support: Providing remote assistance (80%) and on‑site support (20%) to national and international customers.
* Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnosing technical issues and collaborating with Group companies to find optimal solutions.
* Sales Support: Preparing quotations for spare parts and both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services.
* System Modernization: Contributing to revamping projects for existing automation systems.
* Travel: Traveling within Europe for approximately 20% of the working time.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a professional who combines technical expertise with a strong customer‑oriented approach.
* Education: A high school diploma in a mechanical or electrical field.
* Experience: Proven experience as a service engineer or in a customer service role. Experience in the maintenance of laser cutting machines and automation is highly preferred.
* Skills: Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a professional, reliable demeanor.
* Languages: Proficiency in Italian and English; knowledge of other European languages is considered a significant asset.
