For one of our clients based in Geneva, we are looking for a Generalist Infrastructure Engineer.
You will join the IT department, in charge of daily operations and IT external partner relations. In your role, you will actively participate in IT and banking projects with the Projects team. You will also serve as a secondary point of contact for security/business continuity management.
Missions: 2nd and 3rd level Support for all collaborators
Manage and leverage local infrastructure (VMWare, Veeam, Citrix, Simplivity)
Ensure security monitoring and its evolution (following end of life support, improve security)
Daily management of data loss prevention system
Maintain and capitalize on Robots (Blueprism)
Ensure day-to-day operations with ASSL (access requests, incident management, outsourced activities, backup security validations)
Ensure relations with external IT partners (operation meetings, access requests, incident management, outsourced activities, disaster recovery)
Scripting and automation for best quality of service
Maintain regulatory compliance, business continuity planning, SLA, internal controls
Participate in strategic initiatives and build detailed business cases
Profile: First experience in Switzerland is MANDATORY!
At least 5 years' experience as an IT Engineer
General knowledge in Engineering (Systems, Network, and Security)
Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare, Veeam, Citrix, MS Teams.
Good knowledge of the private banking industry (confidentiality, processes, security)
Excellent communication and writing skills in French and English (minimum level B2)
Ability to work in a small team and independently
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
Good communication and service orientation.
