Our client is a globally recognised consumer lifestyle products business with an established international presence and a portfolio of market-leading brands. Known for combining innovation, quality and consumer insight, the organisation develops products that are used by millions of consumers worldwide and continues to invest heavily in product development, category growth and innovation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and established Product Manager to join a highly collaborative international team and play a key role in shaping the future direction of a well-established consumer brand portfolio. The organisation offers a flexible hybrid approach to working, so office days would be up to 3 days per week.
To be considered, candidates must have prior Product Management experience in Consumer Goods, FMCG, Home & Lifestyle, Housewares, or Kitchenware, or a closely related product category. Experience within a consumer-facing product environment is highly desirable.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will take ownership of assigned product categories, managing products throughout their full lifecycle from concept and development through to launch, optimisation and long-term portfolio management.
You will analyse consumer behaviour, identify market opportunities, evaluate emerging trends and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop products that deliver both commercial success and an outstanding consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage assigned product categories throughout the entire product lifecycle
* Develop and execute product briefs from concept through to final approval
* Conduct market research, competitor analysis and consumer trend evaluation
* Identify opportunities for innovation, new product development and portfolio expansion
* Support the development and maintenance of product roadmaps
* Define product requirements, positioning and unique selling propositions
* Monitor product performance and make recommendations to optimise portfolio performance
* Conduct post-launch reviews and commercial performance analysis
* Collaborate closely with design, engineering, sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches
* Maintain product information and documentation throughout the product lifecycle
About You
* 3–5+ years' Product Management experience (ideally within Consumer Goods, FMCG, Home & Lifestyle, Housewares/appliances or a closely related product category)
* Strong understanding of consumer trends, product development and portfolio management
* Commercially minded with strong analytical capabilities
* Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented approach
* High attention to detail and strong ownership mentality
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken, a German language skill would be highly advantageous
