Responsibilities
* Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements
* Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
* Evaluate and measure the company's profit and loss ratio
* Analyze budgets and create expense reports
* Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
* Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
* Maintain and update accounting records and files
* Develop and maintain financial databases
* Assist in the preparation of financial audits and coordinate the audit process
Profile
* Higher education degree in accounting or equivalent
* Several years of experience in accounting
* Knowledge of accounting, business and financial principles and methodologies (e.g. GAAP)
* Knowledge of related computer applications (e.g. MS AX, MS Excel)
* Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
* Independent, accurate and responsible approach to work
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Team player and strong communication skills
* Fluent in English (spoken and written), good knowledge of German and/or French
