Job Title: Commodity Trader (All Commodities - Preferably Physical) Location: Zug Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 (base, plus bonus/incentives) Type: Full-time / Permanent Reporting to: Trader Job Overview: We are actively seeking experienced Commodity Traders across any commodity type, with a preference for those with a background in physical trading. You will be responsible for originating, executing, and managing profitable trades, leveraging your market knowledge, client network, and deal-making expertise. Key Responsibilities: Originate and execute trades across any commodity (energy, metals, agri, chemicals, etc.) Preferably manage physical flows (procurement, logistics, sales, contracts, financing) Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and counterparties Identify arbitrage and margin opportunities across global markets Monitor market trends, price movements, and geopolitical developments Coordinate with risk, operations, finance, and logistics teams Deliver on P&L targets and contribute to growth strategy Profile: Proven experience in commodity trading (physical or paper) Established network of clients/suppliers/counterparties Entrepreneurial mindset with commercial drive Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills Ability to work independently and manage a P&L Familiarity with trade finance, shipping/logistics, and contracts is a plus What’s on Offer: Competitive base salary (USD 100-150k) performance-based bonus Full autonomy to grow your own book or trading strategy Opportunity to work in a lean, agile, and high-performance team Potential to build and scale your own trading vertical
