Electrical Systems Engineer
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of vertical takeoff & landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry‑leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, such as surveillance & reconnaissance, inspection, mapping and cargo.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and test electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, including power distribution, sensors, communication systems and control electronics.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software and control systems, ensuring seamless operation.
Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components, performing performance evaluations and troubleshooting issues.
Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance and compliance with industry standards.
Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications and test plans, to support development and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with software and systems engineers to ensure that electrical designs meet overall project objectives and requirements.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing design improvements as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
Previous experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics or aerospace applications.
Proficiency in circuit design, embedded systems and design software such as Altium and MATLAB.
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI).
Strong communication skills, high social aptitude and excellent analytical and technical understanding.
Good written and oral English skills.
