Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the following:
Define and steer the organisation's financial direction, ensuring consistency with long‑term strategic priorities.
Supervise core financial activities, including reporting, control frameworks, compliance obligations, and external reviews.
Modernise financial operations through improved systems, digital tools, and enhanced processes.
Strengthen risk management practices and ensure robust governance across financial functions.
Manage finance team
Build constructive relationships with internal leaders, partners, and funding bodies on financial matters.
Provide senior leadership with clear financial insight to support decision‑making.
Strategic, decision‑making role

About Our Client
Our client in a Geneva-based NGO.
The Candidates Are Expected To Present The Following
Advanced university degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a closely related discipline.
Recognised professional credential in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Extensive senior‑level experience in financial management (15y+) including several years in an executive finance leadership role.
Previous international, multi‑stakeholder, non‑profit contexts
Track record advising boards and executive teams, acting as a strategic partner on financial, operational, and organisational matters.
English fluent, French as well much appreciated
