Senior Logistics Team Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient movement and storage of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and other supplies across our Biologics production facility.
About the Role
* Leadership and Development: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead, develop, and mentor team members within dedicated logistics areas.
* Process Oversight: The Senior Logistics Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all processes within their area of responsibility are carried out in accordance with current regulatory requirements (GMP /GDP, safety, etc.)
We require a strong leader who can acquire a detailed understanding of key customer needs and requirements. This individual must be able to expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
The ideal candidate will ensure that processes are standardized as far as possible and continuously optimized. They will also foster communication, exchange, and support with other plant logistics areas.
In addition, the Senior Logistics Team Lead will ensure that BioAtrium Logistics is represented in associated projects. They will implement the LONZA culture via willingness for change and new insights, coordinated teamwork, and continuous improvement even outside their own area of responsibility.
Requirements
* A minimum of a Bachelor's / graduate degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain or equivalent is required.
* Further qualification / post-graduate in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations would be strongly preferred.
We require a proven record in operations leadership within a multinational organization, with sophisticated years of experience in leading Logistics / Production Supply or Supply Chain position in Biopharma.
The ideal candidate will possess strong people leadership and communication skills. They must have the capability to support, develop, and implement strategic plans for logistics and supply chain management that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to assess sophisticated logistical challenges and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate with internal departments, external customers, and team members.
The Senior Logistics Team Lead will also have knowledge of local and international regulations governing GMP/GDP, transportation, and logistics, and the ability to ensure compliance with these regulations.
