Responsibilities

* Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services, and new ways of reaching existing markets.
* Seek appropriate contacts within organizations.
* Generate leads and conduct cold calls to prospective customers.
* Meet with customers or clients face‑to‑face or over the phone.
* Foster and develop relationships with customers or clients.
* Understand customer needs and respond with actionable plans.
* Think strategically, setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
* Plan and implement operational changes.
* Draft or review client contracts, when applicable.
* Advise others on the company's products or services.
* Ensure organizational alignment on change initiatives.
* Collaborate with marketing to discuss promotional strategy and activities.
* Identify ways to improve business operations.
* Attend relevant seminars, conferences, and events.
* Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
* Create and manage a sales pipeline.
* Negotiate pricing with customers and, in some cases, suppliers.
* Increase overall sales.
* Conduct sales forecasts and analyses; present findings to senior management.
* Contribute to the development of the business sales and marketing strategy.


Qualifications

* Five years of experience in a marketing and/or relationship management role.
* Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Programme Manager, or similar.
* B2B international experience, preferably in the IT sector.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Advanced proficiency in English.
* Good knowledge of the IT market and Software Development Life Cycle.
* Strong negotiation and sales skills.
* Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
* Professional telephone manner for initial and ongoing customer contact.
* Interpersonal skills for building and developing client relationships.
* Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
* Proficiency with spreadsheets and other IT tools.
* Teamworking and collaborative mindset.
* Decision‑making ability.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
* Project management and organizational skills.
* Self‑motivation and goal setting.
* Strategic thinking ability.
* Analytical skills for interpreting sales figures and writing reports.
* Flexible and adaptable to fast‑paced, ever‑changing environments.
* Initiative and confidence to start projects from scratch.
