Your area of responsibility
This position will initially involve to work on a major manned spacecraft application and will then transition to a general SpaceLab Product Assurance position for all maxon's space applications. In this role you have the authority and responsibility of planning, management, implementation, and monitoring of the Product Assurance Plan / Quality Requirements as it pertains to the project.
* Ensuring the implementation of the applicable Product Assurance Plan
* You act as the interface to space customer for, among others, safety, dependability, Mechanical Parts and Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical quality aspects
* Creation and upkeep of DML (Declared Materials List), DMPL (Declared Material Process List), Configuration Baseline and writing and obtaining appropriate approvals of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), waivers and other production status documents
* Review Development, Design validation, Manufacturing, Verification, Testing and Inspection Documentation and support their development
* Show evidence for compliance with NASA and ESA Standards, ASME Y14.5, J-STD's
* Lead the Change Review Board and align the product change notifications with the customer's
Your profile
* have gained at least 5 years of experience with projects in product assurance and configuration management, ideally with previous space production experience
* you held a Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, physical science or related fields
* you work autonomous in choosing the path to ensuring compliance within the company's principles and goals and the Product Assurance plan that was agreed with the customer
* you work independence from the Project Management and Engineering functions in terms of execution of work and reports to the head of global quality
* you are a team player with good communication skills, you are a solution-oriented person
* you have an excellent command of spoken as well as written English and ideally have at least a good working knowledge of German
