Talent Acquisition Professional at Capgemini Engineering
We’re looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with hands‑on experience in Emerson's DeltaV Distributed Control System to join our team and help drive innovation in industrial automation.
Responsabilities
Design, implement, and maintain automation systems using DeltaV DCS .
Conduct software testing, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and support startup activities at client sites.
Develop DeltaV configurations: control modules, equipment modules, SFCs, and operator graphics.
Participate in the full automation project lifecycle: requirements gathering, functional specs, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and manage changes within the DeltaV environment.
Integrate DeltaV with third‑party systems (PLCs, historians, MES).
Maintain and support existing control systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
Create and maintain system documentation: design specs, loop sheets, backups.
Collaborate with process, electrical, and instrumentation teams to optimize control strategies.
Ensure compliance with standards like ISA, GAMP, and IEC 61511 .
Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance staff.
Contribute to continuous improvement and automation upgrade initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Control, or related field.
3+ years of experience working with Emerson DeltaV systems in a regulated industry (e.g., pharma, biotech, chemical).
Strong knowledge of control system architecture, batch processing, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, Profibus).
Experience with GMP environments and validation documentation .
Familiarity with ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, change management, and software version control .
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across disciplines.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
