Responsibilities
Conduct accounting and daily & monthly NAV calculations.
Bookkeep liquid, illiquid, private equity, private debt, and private real estate funds.
Control cash flow and capital account statements.
Reconcile fund transactions.
Support launch, merger, and closure of funds.
Issue notices, monthly statements, etc.
Prepare annual financial statements, assist with regulatory fund reporting and tax returns.
Report investment information to senior management.
Handle external stakeholders such as auditors, investors, custodians, and regulators.
Control & monitor master data maintenance, fee management, and price publication.
Coordinate daily fund administration processes, optimise tools and systems for quality & efficiency.
Assist in implementing new investment products in systems.
Monitor accounting guidelines and fund regulations.
Execute ad‑hoc projects in fund administration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
Further qualifications in accounting are an advantage.
Professional experience in fund accounting within the fund industry, a bank, or a Big Four, especially in Private Equity.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good understanding of applicable accounting regulations and regulatory requirements in the fund sector.
Strong communication skills.
Team orientation.
IT proficiency with systems such as Avaloq, SimCorp or Investran; computer literate and competent with MS Word and Excel.
English and German language skills.
