Overview
As a Senior Manager within the Insurance & Actuarial Solutions team at Deloitte Financial Risk Management, you will work on multidisciplinary projects, manage client engagements, and lead teams. You will contribute to strengthening Deloitte’s position as a leading insurance advisor and collaborate with colleagues across the Financial Risk Management team in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities
* Lead projects and multidisciplinary teams; act as a primary contact for clients.
* Contribute technical expertise in actuarial, risk management, modelling, validations and transformations.
* Develop and validate models across Actuarial, Banking, and Risk domains; advise on regulatory and client needs.
* Help grow the team by developing propositions and leveraging your commercial and analytical skills.
* Foster a collaborative, innovative, and professional working environment.
Qualifications
* At least 10 years of experience in quantitative roles within the actuarial field, risk management, modelling, validations and/or transformations, ideally in financial/corporate sectors and non-life insurance. Disability insurance experience is advantageous but not required.
* Experience with project-oriented work and managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate change and influence stakeholders.
* Commercial mindset with strong technical and organisational skills; ability to build and develop new propositions.
* Ambitious, independent, able to perform under pressure; team player who collaborates with experts locally and internationally.
* Resident of the Netherlands; fluent in English (verbal and written).
