Key Responsibilities:
* Lead projects for capital expansions in the pre-implementation and execution phases to ensure performance, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
* Estimate costs for engineering and construction, prepare contractual documents, and support equipment procurement by defining specifications.
* Provide expert engineering services to enhance plant efficiency, collaborating with production personnel to identify and manage improvement initiatives.
* Investigate innovative technologies to boost plant profitability.
* Develop and instruct project team members.
* Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for equipment conformity.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field; a master's or PhD is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in process engineering within an industrial setting.
* Proven experience in project management and process improvement methodologies.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead initiatives effectively.
* Proficiency in SAP.
* Fluency in English and German.
