You will be joining a dynamic team at ANYbotics, working directly with the robotics and web application teams that build and maintain ANYmal and supporting applications. This role focuses on enhancing the developer experience and efficiency for software engineers. You will be instrumental in streamlining development throughout the lifecycle by focusing on local builds, CI/CD pipelines, application testing and deployment. You will collaborate with quality, release, and deployment engineers to ensure a robust, high‑performing, and user‑friendly system. Your Contributions
* Design, implement, and maintain local build systems and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery for robotics and web application teams.
* Develop and champion best practices for developer workflows, including the use of VSCode, Devcontainers and agentic development tools.
* Integrate and optimize tooling to reduce the time from concept to successful robot deployment, collaborating with robotics and web application teams to understand and address their needs.
* Streamline the entire development lifecycle by working closely with quality, release, and deployment engineers.
Your Profile
* Engineering or science degree with a focus on computer science, electrical engineering or robotics.
* Excellent at developing and optimizing advanced CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong experience with Python, Bash and C++ development.
* Strong experience with Docker and Docker Compose for containerized development environments.
* Strong experience with build systems (e.g., CMake).
* Strong in self‑coordination, able to structure your work independently and deliver results.
* Good understanding of modern developer experience tools and practices, including VSCode and Devcontainers.
* Good proficiency with ROS/ROS2 for robotics development is ideal.
* Interested in working with select external partners and learning from users (in the field).
