Nice to have you here. Thank you for your interest. Hello, I’m Ivo Mästinger, and I lead a dynamic team in the power plant sector. With over 40 engineers located globally, we support our clients in the execution of power plant projects – from planning, site management, and supervision of installation, to commissioning. Our diverse project portfolio includes Püssi – Grid Stabiliser, Ishinomaki Biomass, and Seaboard / Estrella del Mar III. We also offer comprehensive services for existing plants.
A strong commitment to service and high motivation to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to find solutions are key to our success. It’s important for us to rely on each other and demonstrate dedication in our service and commissioning assignments. Tasks
1. Lead commissioning of generator excitation and/or frequency converter systems
2. Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start-up, and commissioning of excitation and drive systems, including auxiliaries
3. Work on large-scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide
4. Collaborate with commissioning engineers and customers from various backgrounds and expertise
5. Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts
Requirements
* Electrical Technician or Engineering degree
* Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment from proven manufacturers
* Preferably experience with established products in this field (e.g., Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100)
* Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects
* Team player with good interaction skills with customers and co-workers of different cultures
* Ability to communicate effectively in English
