Leading the 'Proteins and Nutrients' Team (around 4 people) from a scientific, organisational, financial and staff perspective
Ensuring the development of new analytical methods and the optimisation of existing methods
Performing the tasks associated with the quality assurance system (QMS, ISO 17025)
Maintaining and expanding the network of institutional and research partners at national and international level
Collaborating in the publication of the research results in specialist journals aimed at researchers and practitioners
This makes you unique
Degree in Chemistry (Univ. of Applied Sciences diploma, Master's, Bachelor's, University degree)
or training deemed equivalent with several years' experience
Leadership qualities, team-minded, good communication skills, stress-resistant
Ability to progress within an ISO 17025-accredited environment (QMS, LIMS, etc.)
Flexible personality, capable of progressing within a team, used to working in a meticulous and precise manner
Experience in the field of so-called 'Weender analysis' an asset
Good knowledge of two official Swiss languages and good English

Additional Information
The 'Feed Chemistry' Research Group provides analytical support for Agroscope research projects and for the Official Inspection of Feed (legal tasks). The Group analyses and develops methods for maintaining effective, cutting-edge analysis responding to the needs of agronomic research. The laboratories are ISO 17025-accredited. The Group trains apprentice chemistry laboratory technicians.
