Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Recruitment Consultant with a strong focus on Business Development and Talent Sourcing within the international financial industry. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, identifying and engaging new clients, and sourcing high-quality candidates for financial roles. This role demands exceptional business development skills, the ability to manage high-pressure situations, and a passion for working within an international, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the international financial industry.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, asset managers, investment banks, and fintech companies.
3. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business growth plans.
4. Attend networking events, industry conferences, and meetings to expand the client base and enhance market presence.
5. Develop tailored proposals for clients, showcasing a deep understanding of their recruitment needs and market trends.
Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:
1. Source and engage with top-tier candidates for financial industry roles, ensuring a high standard of matching candidates to client requirements.
2. Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates using a variety of tools and methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, and professional networks.
3. Build and maintain a talent pool of pre-screened candidates for various financial roles across multiple geographical markets.
4. Provide expert guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Project & Time Management:
1. Manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
2. Effectively prioritize tasks, balancing business development, candidate sourcing, and other recruitment responsibilities.
3. Ensure efficient processes for candidate placements, reporting, and tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaboration & Teamwork:
1. Work closely with colleagues across our international team to ensure seamless delivery of recruitment solutions.
2. Share industry insights, best practices, and knowledge to drive team growth and enhance recruitment strategies.
3. Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. Academic Background: Master’s degree from a business school or equivalent academic qualification.
2. Proven Business Development Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in business development within recruitment or financial services, with a strong track record of success.
3. Financial Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the international financial sector and the types of talent required for various roles.
4. Excellent Time & Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
5. Strong Stress Management & Resilience: Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
6. Listening & Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to uncover client and candidate needs through active listening and open-ended questioning.
7. Collaborative Mindset: Passion for working in an international, diverse, and team-oriented environment.
8. Adaptability & Open-Mindedness: Willingness to embrace new ideas, adapt to change, and think creatively when solving challenges.
Desired Skills:
1. International Experience: Previous experience working with global clients or candidates within the financial sector is a plus.
2. Languages: Proficiency in French and English, additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, Italian) is beneficial but not required.
