About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Risk Manager to join our team in Lucerne, Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the development of financial and strategic risk practices across our international EPC(F) business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of FX, liquidity, commodity, and credit risk concepts relevant to emerging markets. They will also have experience in establishing or actively supporting the operating rhythm of risk committees, including preparation of agendas, reporting packages, and structured follow-up.
In this role, you will provide clear, pragmatic recommendations to senior management and project teams, balancing financial protection with operational continuity. You will also collaborate closely with the ESG Manager, Legal & Compliance Manager, and Central Operation Support team to ensure an integrated and non-duplicative approach to risk.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as key coordinator and advisor to the Çalık Enerji Risk Committee, helping establish its cadence, risk reporting format, and integration of risk insights across Calik Enerji Swiss AG and the broader group.
* Draft committee materials, support follow-up actions, and help institutionalize a robust group-wide risk governance culture.
* Monitor and assess enterprise-level risks, including FX exposure, liquidity risk, commodity price risk, counterparty and sovereign risk, and cross-border compliance risk.
* Provide clear, pragmatic recommendations to senior management and project teams, balancing financial protection with operational continuity.
* Maintain the centralized risk register across Calik Enerji Swiss AG's activities and EPC(F) projects.
* Develop actionable risk dashboards and key indicators for senior executives and the Risk Committee.
* Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk-adjusted performance reviews to support major decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Engineering, or related field.
* 8–12 years of relevant experience in enterprise, financial, or project risk roles in EPC, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to support both C-level reporting and field-level engagement.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
