Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that the quality of food and hygiene reach to the school's standards
2. Respect the production according to the meal plan and being able to manage the service
3. Ensure inventory management, control product consumption dates, fridges, and freezers on regular basis
4. Train and supervise apprentices and cooks under his command
5. Manage the storage, cleaning, and hygiene of his workplace
6. Make all the culinary preparations assigned to his specialty/part according to the standards in force and the Head Chef's instructions
7. Develop and prepare menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
8. Organise purchased order and delivery when needed
9. Control the cleanness of the kitchen according to the Weekly Cleaning planning
10. Master the different cooking methods and sauces preparation
11. Ensure strict compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations

Profile and experiences:

12. CFC Cuisinier or equivalent diploma
13. Pedagogic certificate an asset
14. Knowledge or training in vegetarian and vegan cuisine is needed
15. Fluent in French and English
16. In constant research of improvement
17. Almost 5 years of cooking experience or 2 years as Chef de partie in a reputed company
18. Participate to Pedagogic workshop
19. Excellent knowledge of the food production for banquets, buffets, and a la carte
20. Always demonstrate the better methods of work and demonstrate good knowledge of inventory management
