Join the Quality Control 24/7 Analytical Services Team at a global leader in life sciences, located in Visp. As a key part of the production process, this team handles all analytical samples from manufacturing operations — around the clock. With expertise, precision, and compliance, samples are prepared, aliquoted, and tested using a wide range of techniques. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge analytical methods across chromatography, biochemistry, microbiology, and physical chemistry.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in a dynamic, high-tech environment where no two samples are the same.

What Makes This Role Exciting

As part of the QC 24/7 team, you have the choice to:

* Specialize in one of our advanced analytical technologies
* Or broaden your expertise across a diverse portfolio of tests, including:
* Bioburden and endotoxin testing
* Chromatographic methods (e.g., SEC, HPLC)
* ELISA, UV spectroscopy, TOC, pH measurements, and more

You’ll contribute to mission-critical analyses that support biologics manufacturing, while working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

What We Offer

* A structured onboarding and training program supported by experienced colleagues
* Relocation assistance for qualified candidates and their families
* Opportunities for advancement and specialized training (e.g., becoming a technology trainer)
* Flexible time off during weekdays thanks to the 4-shift rotation, ideal for skiing or hiking in the region

Key Responsibilities

* Aseptically aliquoting production samples
* Performing and documenting time-sensitive in-process controls (IPC) such as:
* Bioburden and endotoxins
* HPLC, TOC, UV, pH, and more
* Ensuring full compliance with GMP regulations in all activities
* Handling and analyzing highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (classified AHSK 4/5)

Your Profile

* Completed vocational training in a scientific or technical field (preferred: pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, chemistry, or process engineering)
* Knowledge of GMP standards is an advantage
* High motivation to learn, flexibility, and a proactive mindset
* Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and accountability
* Solid understanding of technical and analytical processes
* Proficiency in German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus
* Willingness to work in a 4-shift operation (includes nights and weekends)

This role offers the chance to contribute to life-changing innovations while working in an inclusive, respectful, and science-driven environment. Ideal for professionals who thrive under structure, value precision, and are excited to support global healthcare solutions at the frontline of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
