Overview Consultant (4 months, home-based, remotely) SES Regional Specialist (CRM - Business Process 2025) and Systems Specialist (for Latin America and the Caribbean Regions, PFP, Geneva) at UNICEF CHAD. Duty Station: Geneva; Location: Switzerland. Contract type: Consultant; Level: Consultancy; Categories: Communication, Partnerships, Fund Raising. The role focuses on UNICEF Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office activities, SES implementation, and Salesforce-based solutions within the LAC Region.
Responsibilities Under the overall guidance of the Digital Delivery Manager in Geneva and in coordination with the Global SES Team, gather business requirements, conduct business process redesign, and provide support on testing, training, report writing, analysis, and implementation of Salesforce and SES in the LAC Region.
Identify and articulate CRM requirements with UNICEF offices; work with local market teams, HQ, and vendors for Salesforce-based solution delivery; continuously communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with solution design and sustainability; provide feedback on system design and updates for LAC markets; ensure regional needs are included in global solution updates.
Analyze current fundraising business processes and document via user stories; support Agile development through story prioritization and backlog grooming.
Support business decisions from fundraising and supporter experience perspectives, considering cost and ROI; understand and guide the Salesforce solution (Sales Cloud, Non-profit Success Pack, core packages, configurations, integrations).
Recommend product enhancements and identify opportunities for business process improvement; ensure integrity of back-office processes and streamline opportunities.
Provide readiness checklists and functionality prioritization for go-live; contribute to SES Deployment Suite assets and communicate guidance to countries as needed; act as a bridge between global product and localization requirements.
Maintain records of best practices and knowledge management; support regional communications and updates in the LACRO Digital Space; collaborate with local third-party services on handbooks and training guides.
Provide advice on LACRO/Country Office governance by tracking RACI tasks and identifying next steps to resolve issues; offer scoping advice where appropriate.
Deliverables Lead Business Requirements during Salesforce implementation; complete RACI weekly; provide project progress updates on a weekly basis; generate 10–20 SOPs per market and 5–10 reports in Salesforce and/or Power BI.
Lead business requirements with third-party agencies during Salesforce implementation; provide guidance to markets, and deliver training for 2–5 agencies per market.
Lead business requirements during user testing; plan and execute end-to-end testing; complete go-live sanity checks as per market deployment.
Lead business requirements for Salesforce go-live; support go-live of the SES Platform; deploy a customized Salesforce instance and deliver reports and dashboards.
Provide post-deployment support during HyperCare; manage backlog of user stories in DevOps.
Qualifications Education : An advanced university degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Engineering, or another relevant field is required; or a first university degree with two additional years of professional experience.
Experience : Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in Project Management or Marketing Management; proven knowledge of fundraising processes; thorough understanding of Salesforce;Donor Perfect is an asset.
Competencies : Professional technical knowledge in DevOps; experience with testing methodologies; experience developing business requirements documents.
Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience training and upskilling teams; excellent written and oral communication translating business requirements to technical language.
Language : Fluency in English and Spanish required for LAC region; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
Other Information Travel: There is potential travel on an as-needed basis, paid by UNICEF; not included in lump-sum fees.
Administrative and ethics: UNICEF values CRITAS; adherence to UNICEF policies; background checks; vaccination requirements may apply for on-site engagement; remote consultants may have different requirements.
Remuneration and deliverables: Please indicate all-inclusive fees against the listed deliverables in the cover letter; payment based on agreed deliverables; UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment for non-compliant deliverables or delays.
