As the Lead Pricing Analyst – Ingredients Europe in Kemptthal, you will lead the development of pricing strategies across the region, ensuring competitive, profitable, and data‑driven decisions. Reporting to the Global Head of Pricing, this role partners with Sales, Global Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align pricing with our goals and market dynamics.
An important contributor to the Health & Functional Ingredients pricing vision, the manager translates market insights into relevant strategies, guides promotional and customer programs, and enhances pricing governance and consistency. You are a natural collaborator and influencer combining strategic thinking, analytical excellence, and collaborative leadership to lead value within a global, multicultural environment.

Your main responsibilities
Lead the development of regional pricing strategies for B2B and manufacturing customers, ensuring profitability and alignment with goals.
Define and manage price budgets and frameworks for European ingredient portfolios, balancing local needs with global consistency.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance to deliver data‑driven pricing recommendations and support commercial decision-making.
Oversee maintenance of price lists and customer‑specific agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and updates.
Analyze market trends, margin performance, and discount structures to guide sustainable, value‑based pricing.
Review and validate pricing requests following internal policies and profitability thresholds.
Enhance pricing processes and governance, promoting automation, transparency, and efficiency across systems and workflows.
Communicate pricing rationale and value drivers to all partners.
Collaborate across multicultural, cross‑functional teams, promoting alignment and continuous improvement in regional pricing practices.
You have
Bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or finance within a B2B or manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in ingredient, food, or specialty chemicals markets.
Ability to collate and communicate complex data across diverse teams and departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools; experience with ERP and pricing systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent) required.
Working knowledge of analytics tools or dashboard solutions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Skill in interpreting complex data, building pricing models, and translating analytical insights into practical business recommendations.
Comfortable working in a remote, networked environment, encouraging collaboration through virtual tools.
Fluency in English; French and German a plus.
