As an EASA PART-145 Engine Training Instructor, you will be a key member of the Training Services Team, conducting training courses in compliance with aviation authority rules and regulations, and adhering to SR Technics' high standards. Your responsibilities will include serving as an instructor, examiner, practical trainer, and assessor, as well as creating and developing learning content for the product development team and participating as a Subject Matter Expert in training projects. Your expertise will be crucial in advancing the competency development of SR Technics personnel and our customers' staff.
Your tasks
* Be a role model for a Generative Safety Culture, ensuring safety is a core value.
* Promote a positive Quality Culture, actively communicating, implementing, and adhering to the Quality Policy.
* Implement, maintain, and improve all elements of the Safety Management System according to Safety Guidelines.
* Deliver high-quality, cost-effective training at various locations, utilizing diverse instructional resources and methods.
* Prepare and manage training materials and infrastructure for theoretical and practical sessions.
* Use the latest technologies to enhance instructional support.
* Set clear learning objectives, monitor student progress, and foster a supportive learning environment.
* Provide comprehensive data at the conclusion of training courses for administrative purposes.
* Maintain and update documentation in accordance with aviation authorities’ rules and regulations, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
* Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert in training product development and related projects, ensuring technical content accuracy.
* Continuously expand your qualifications and competencies for professional growth.
Your Profile
* Certification as a Technician (AML B1, B2, or equivalent).
* Preferably a bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Education.
* At least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance or a similar field.
* Willingness to travel worldwide for training sessions.
* Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
* Proven experience in technical teaching and certification as a technical trainer.
* Skilled in instructional design and adult learning principles.
* Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences and cultures.
* Open to new ideas, change initiatives, and adaptable to evolving circumstances.
* Proficiency in German and English, with a minimum Level B2, C1 preferred.
