The Business Applications Analysis Group works closely with business teams to analyze, onboard Partners Group's major projects. We are responsible for developing, customizing, and continuously enhancing applications to optimally support Partners Group's global business operations. The Fund & Investment Management platform team within the Business Applications Group is dedicated to managing the fund life cycle, with a focus on delivering comprehensive solutions for investor onboarding, transaction processing, accounting, valuation, and portfolio management for Partners Group’s direct and indirect investments. This team is instrumental in maintaining investment life cycle management solutions across all asset classes, facilitating activities related to portfolio management, ESG monitoring, and investment valuation
Responsibilities
1. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops to elicit business needs and define and finalize scope of work
2. Develop comprehensive business cases by analyzing business functions, gathering requirements, and evaluating output specifications
3. Establish system capabilities and align stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes
4. Create clear and concise documentation including detailed workflow charts, process diagrams, and technical specifications
5. Identify and track key project milestones, phases, and deliverables to maintain project timelines
6. Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
7. Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into solutions
8. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve team objectives and deliver results
9. Conduct regular (daily, weekly, and monthly) reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
10. Formulate and present data-driven process improvement recommendations to senior management
11. Assume leadership role for designated projects, driving initiatives from conception through implementation

12. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
13. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as business analyst gathering business requirements, designing solutions with technical specifications, bridging the gap between business vision and technical execution
14. Comprehensive understanding of at least one financial sector, i.e. Banks, Insurance, Investment Firms etc.
15. Proficient in SQL for querying and analyzing data within one of the common rational databases to support business analysis
16. Self-motivated professional who excels at driving projects independently with minimal supervision while maintaining effective collaboration and implementing operational changes
17. Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
18. Experience with business process modeling and requirements documentation methodologies
Desirable:
19. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
20. Knowledge of credit business
21. Professional certifications in Project Management or Business Analysis (PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM, CSM, Agile, SAFe, etc.)
22. Knowledge of business intelligence tools and data visualization
23. Familiarity with private equity or alternative investment operations
