Accounting Professional Sought for Temporary Support

We are looking for an Accounting Professional to provide temporary support to our Finance team for a period of 9 months at a variable workload.
As an Accounting Professional, you will hold primary responsibility for various tasks including financial closings, preparation of figures and reports, and VAT returns.
* Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, preparation of figures and reports, and VAT returns.
* Operational responsibility for financial closings in accordance with Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), including reporting financial results, reviewing general and sub-ledgers, account reconciliations, closing entries, accruals, inventory valuations, consolidations, and OR-based valuations and postings.
* Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns (Switzerland).
* Responsibility for group closings (USA) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Participation in accounting/finance-related projects.
* Providing guidance and supervision to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team members regarding accounting topics, especially in the absence of the Finance Manager Switzerland.
* Ensuring all accounting tasks, including financial closings and reporting, are completed timely, legally compliant, and aligned with policies.
* Maintaining proper functioning of the interface between local ERP and group ERP systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Higher education in business administration (University or University of Applied Sciences), focusing on Finance & Accounting.
* 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in German and English.
* Structured, independent working style with a high sense of responsibility and reliability.
* Resilient, motivated, hands-on, flexible.
* Knowledge of Navision is an advantage.
