We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to manage and enhance our organisation's end-to-end network infrastructure.

This is a critical technical role that requires a deep understanding of network technologies, including Cisco environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance network solutions that underpin the Institution's operations across all locations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network connectivity while supporting strategic IT projects that align with broader business objectives.
The role involves hands-on work, requiring a proactive approach to performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and network security.
Main Responsibilities:
* Network Design and Implementation: Collaborate with IT architects and senior engineers to develop network solutions tailored to business needs.
* Network Maintenance and Monitoring: Proactively monitor network performance using Cisco monitoring tools and protocols.
* Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose hardware and software faults, leveraging CCNA-level knowledge to resolve issues.
* Security & Compliance: Ensure the network adheres to organisational security policies and applicable regulatory standards.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
Main Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
* Certification: Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is essential.
* Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a network administration or engineering role within a Cisco-focused environment.
* Technical Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
