Project Description:
The platform is a strategic solution for investment products and client portfolio management in Switzerland, EMEA, and APAC.
The system is currently a multi-tier resilient enterprise cluster implemented with a mix of open source, vendor, and proprietary technologies. 15+ applications are based on a Platform which includes technologies like RHEL, Spring Stack, Container Runtime, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Ignite, Oracle, Ansible, Eclipse RCP, React, Angular, Prometheus/Grafana.
We're looking for someone like that to help us
* Maintain and upgrade existing technology stack
* Development of Ansible playbooks for release rollouts and operational purposes
* Enhancement of existing Platform service implementations
* Contribute to the Platform Modernization
* Provide 3rd Level Support of production environments
Responsibilities:
* Investing is a multinational organization inside UBS responsible for building and supporting the One Investment Platform, with the core team in Switzerland.
* You will work in Platform Team. You will be a part of an agile team of professionals, working in a close collaboration with technical experts of 15+ applications and operations. It is a very demanding, fast paced, and exciting environment.
Mandatory Skills Description:
* minimum of 10+ years of experience as Linux system engineer for complex applications
* experience with Apache/Tomcat on UNIX/Linux environment
* working experience following technologies as a plus: Kafka, ZooKeeper, Elasticsearch, Ignite
* Perl skills would be a plus
* exposure to Java technologies would be a plus
* working experience with Agile methodologies
* working knowledge in tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, etc
* good communication skills and able to coordinate technical discussion and activities
* self-initiative and comfortable working on a wide range of topics
