About the role
You will play a key role in supporting the organization's risk management activities. In this position, you will assist in monitoring and analyzing reinsurance and investment risks, so strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of risk management principles are essential. Your responsibilities include collecting and interpreting data, preparing risk reports, and contributing to the maintenance of an effective and robust risk management framework. You will work closely with the Risk Manager and other stakeholders to ensure accurate risk assessment and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities
* Assist in implementing and maintaining risk management protocols and help promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance.
* Monitor adherence to the risk management framework and policy across business activities.
* Support the setup and monitoring of insurance and investment risk metrics, including risk appetite, tolerance, capacity, exposure, and limits.
* Collect, analyze, and report data to provide transparency around risks and capital requirements for decision-making and planning.
* Identify and escalate potential risk breaches and assist in drafting mitigation actions.
* Perform risk analyses and contribute to deep-dive reviews under the guidance of senior risk professionals.
* Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for management review.
* Ensure accurate documentation and provide validation support for internal models and risk processes.
* Stay informed on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Your profile
* You hold a relevant university degree; an actuarial qualification is a plus.
* Bring at least 3 years of experience in (re)insurance, risk management, or related fields.
* Strong knowledge of risk management, finance, and statistical methodologies.
* You are experienced in risk reporting, model validation, and P&C actuarial concepts (including SST/SII).
* You combine solid mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex issues.
* Proactive, hands-on, and have a strong problem-solving mindset.
* Communicate effectively (fluent in English; German is an advantage).
* You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and a positive team player.
