As a Development Engineer, you will work as a cross‑functional team on automating and tooling to maintain and further develop launched complex diagnostic systems. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliElaborate on (Cobots–)Robotics concepts within a laboratory environment towards our vision of a dark lab by fully automating laboratory operations and workflows. /liliProgram, test, and maintain newly created and existing automated solutions within our laboratories. /liliSupport our Integration Teams in the installation and troubleshooting of Robotics Solutions within our laboratory environment. /liliPlan, coordinate, and execute work packages within your area of responsibility, including reporting and escalating topics or issues to the team and management. /liliBe able to work as an individual and as part of a team. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliGraduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in computer science, with specific knowledge in robotics and/or vision, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering or equivalent. /liliKnowledge of professional software development with one or more programming languages (UR‑Polyscope, Python, C# / .NET, LabView). /liliExcellent spoken and written command of English (German is advantageous). /liliCan communicate appropriately with different target groups. /liliMotivated to build, manage, and foster relationships and networks within the department and related projects. /liliQuick grasp and understanding of complex issues and conceptual and creative thinking. /li /ulpPlease note that this vacancy is not currently linked to an open position.
