With nearly a significant number of staff, the Department focuses on elderly care and is distributed across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It handles acute cases, notably through the emergency services of the Hôpital des Trois-Chêne, addressing age-related specific issues, and its medical facility located in a wooded park. As a Chief or Chief Physician, with or without a specialty title, you ensure the quality of medical procedures in the care units of your area of expertise and coordinate the activities as well as the diagnostics and therapeutic activities of the cases entrusted to you in close collaboration with the assistant physicians. Working in a stimulating university environment, within an interdisciplinary team, you also contribute to the training of physicians, participate in clinical research activities, and you may start, according to your personal interest, a quality or clinical research project with supervision. You hold a medical degree or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). You benefit from or are close to obtaining the FMH specialty title in internal medicine. To benefit from an FMH specialty title, you must hold a right to practice in the canton of Geneva. For non-French speakers, a French level of C1 in spoken and written tests is required. You are a person with good communication skills in an interdisciplinary team and with patients.
