THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support a corporate restructuring project for a global luxury goods company. The ideal candidate will have strong international corporate experience, hands-on restructuring expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-regional teams and external counsel. This is a part-time, temporary position requiring regular on-site presence in Zurich, Switzerland. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and support activities related to corporate restructuring, including planning, coordination, and execution tasks.
2. Manage and review merger processes, including corporate approvals, document preparation, and regulatory checks.
3. Conduct due diligence and evaluate legal risks associated with mergers and restructurings.
4. Review and negotiate merger agreements and other transactional documents in collaboration with outside counsel across multiple regions.
5. Coordinate and align with internal teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the corporate legal function throughout the project.
6. Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to stakeholders in a fast-moving, international environment.
YOUR PROFILE
7. 5–7 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with exposure to international corporate structures.
8. Proven corporate restructuring and transactional experience, including mergers and due diligence.
9. Strong ability to coordinate and collaborate across teams and jurisdictions.
10. Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
11. Qualified lawyer with an international background.
12. Must be based in Zurich and able to work on-site.
13. Ability to manage multiple workstreams with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
