PTurn supplier relationships into high-performing, reliable supply chain outcomes. /ppProclinical is seeking an Operational Buyer to join the Supply Chain team in Swtzerland, supporting Small Molecules operations. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of supply chain activities by managing supplier performance and executing the Material Requirements Plan (MRP). /ppPlease note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport. /ppbResponsibilities: /b /pliMonitor and track supplier performance, providing feedback to Strategic Buyers and Category Managers. /liliDrive continuous improvement in supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and compliance. /liliResolve Level 2 vendor escalations, such as delivery delays, MRP-driven changes, pricing discrepancies, and shipping issues. /liliCollaborate with Procurement teams to maintain accurate material and vendor master data in SAP. /liliSupport supplier qualification, onboarding, and implementation of supplier changes. /liliManage vendor returns (RMAs), including cost recovery and replacements. /liliAddress Accounts Payable inquiries, such as invoice discrepancies. /liliConduct regular open order review meetings with suppliers. /liliAssist in onboarding and approval of new raw materials and suppliers with internal stakeholders. /liliParticipate in competitive bidding processes and execute RFx activities in line with policy. /liliSupport Strategic Buyers in negotiating low-value contracts. /liliContribute to initiatives led by Central Category Managers and Site Strategic Buyers. /liliPerform additional duties as required. /lipbKey Skills and Requirements: /b /pliBachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience. /liliProven experience in procurement or operational buying roles. /liliProficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems. /liliStrong background in purchasing raw materials. /liliAbility to manage vendor performance and implement improvement plans. /liliExperience in contract negotiation. /liliStrong commercial acumen and strategic mindset. /liliExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills. /liliFluency in English and German is mandatory. br/ /li
