Belimo Automation AG is looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Supplier Quality to lead our global supplier quality team and initiatives. In this key leadership role, you will drive quality strategies, foster innovation, and ensure operational excellence across the supply chain. What You'll Do
* You will lead and enhance the Global SQE team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and continuous performance improvement.
* You are responsible for defining and implementing the GSQE strategy and processes, collaborating with regional teams in EMEA, Americas, and Asia Pacific.
* Further, you will deploy quality strategies aligned with global initiatives, driving operational excellence across the entire value chain.
* Additionally, you will develop harmonized quality processes, ensuring consistency and embedding best practices throughout all functions.
* Moreover, you will proactively resolve high-impact quality issues, including logistics and customization challenges escalated by various teams.
* You will manage supplier quality activities, including defect rate definitions, incoming goods inspections, and on-site coaching to ensure continuous improvement.
* You are responsible for implementing SQE initiatives with measurable outcomes, introducing KPIs and ensuring effective tracking and monitoring for success.
Who You Are
* You hold a Bachelor or Master in Quality Management, Engineering, or related fields and bring over 7 years of experience in supplier quality management within a global or multinational organization.
* You are an Internal/Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 is required; ISO 14001/ISO 45001 is a plus) or demonstrate a willingness to achieve these certifications.
* You possess strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams while driving change and fostering innovation.
* Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills enable you to work effectively across all corporate functions and levels of the organization.
* You have extensive project management, problem-solving, and team-building experience, supported by strong knowledge of quality tools and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Your ability to analyze current situations, perform gap analyses, and build and execute roadmaps ensures the achievement of quality targets and process improvements.
