CONTEXT To cover a colleague during a maternity, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support to two Maisons of the Richemont Group for a period of approximately six months The start date is 15 May 2026 and the end date is 31 December 2026. You will be part of a team within Group Legal that deals with a wide area of legal topics across the luxury goods spectrum including manufacturing, distribution, sponsorship, licences, endorsement, lease, employment, service, corporate, compliance, litigations etc. We believe in a strong team spirit and constructive cooperation. We see Group Legal as a reliable and effective business partner to our Maisons. We are looking for someone who shares these beliefs. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? Each of the areas of responsibility will involve a variety of challenges requiring the person to be both flexible and adaptable whilst demonstrating gravitas in their dealings with internal and external counterparties. Reporting directly to the Head Counsel for this Maison, the tasks include: • Providing timely and results oriented legal advice and supporting on a wide variety of matters across the activities of the Maison. • Responding to ad hoc queries and identifying, analysing and evaluating risks in order to provide appropriate and compliant solutions. • Negotiating, reviewing, and drafting of a wide variety of legal and commercial documents, including manufacturing, distribution, services, license, sponsoring etc…agreements. • Working in close cooperation with a variety of Richemont entities and with the support functions of the Richemont Group and liaising with and managing external counsels. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • Qualified lawyer – (Swiss or French bar admission is a must). • Minimum of 5 years post bar qualification experience in providing legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters in an international environment. A combination of private practice and in-house experience is preferred. • Experience will include commercial / contract law. Proven drafting and negotiation skills are important. • Fluent in both English and French. • Good command of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel). HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? • Solid grasp of the principles of law and an ability to adapt your work quickly dealing with different tasks also in fields of law where your experience may have been limited. • Strong team player with excellent project management and communication skills. • Result and business oriented, open-minded, excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work in close cooperation with others - both internal and external lawyers and non-lawyer colleagues. • Excellent drafting skills. • Have sound commercial judgment, strong intellect and the confidence to take the lead in negotiations with both internal and external counterparties. • Demonstrate excellent persuasion and negotiation skills in complex settings. • Articulate proposals clearly, balance the requirement for technical expertise, and have the ability to recognise the bigger commercial picture.
